Effortless Printing of Awards and Certificates with Bound Software: A Game-Changer for Busy Seasons

As a dedicated administrative assistant, immersed in the whirlwind of spring sports and graduation preparations, I can attest that time is always of the essence. Juggling countless tasks, from organizing events to ensuring every student athlete receives their well-deserved recognition, can be quite the challenge. However, with Bound software at my disposal, one aspect of this hectic season has become notably smoother and more efficient: printing awards and certificates.

Let me share my recent experience. With just a few clicks, I was able to effortlessly print all 144 MVC Spring Athlete All-Academic Awards using Bound. The process was seamless and remarkably time-saving, allowing me to focus my attention on other critical tasks without sacrificing the quality of recognition our student athletes deserve.

Here's how Bound's feature revolutionized my workflow:

1. Database Integration: Leveraging our existing database, such as PowerSchool, I seamlessly entered awards into Bound on our rosters.
2. Streamlined Filtering: With Bound's intuitive interface, I easily filtered to designate the specific award I wanted, saving valuable time by eliminating the need for manual sorting.
3. Efficient Data Management: After filtering, I downloaded the data to a CSV file, where I promptly cleaned up the spreadsheet to retain only the necessary information. For instance, I removed all fall and winter sports data, ensuring that each athlete's spring achievements were prominently featured.
4. Customized Mail Merge: Armed with a refined Excel spreadsheet containing the essential details—such as the athlete's name, year, and sport—I seamlessly integrated it into my Word document for mail merge.
5. Precision Printing: With my meticulously prepared mail merge document in hand, I fed cardstock paper into the printer's bypass tray, fine-tuning the settings to ensure flawless printing of each certificate.

The result? A significant reduction in time spent on administrative tasks, allowing me to allocate more resources towards ensuring a memorable experience for our student athletes during this crucial time of year.
